A young angel, Puel, wants more than anything to be a member of the Heavenly Choir. The only problem is that he has a terrible voice.  He asks the Angel Vespers, the Choirmaster, to help him. As hard as he tries, Puel's voice gets no better but the lesson Vespers teaches him is that as long as he tries his hardest and believes in himself, his voice will soar and bring joy to others.
